Fahim Masum

Fahim Masum is a skilled Microfluidics Engineer currently employed at Vital Bio since November 2021, focusing on the design and testing of immunoassay platforms using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Previously, Fahim served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, contributing to the development of an automated system for cell-free therapeutics in collaboration with both the Sinton and Pardee Laboratories. Educational background includes a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and Pharmacy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Additional experience encompasses multiple teaching assistant roles in both engineering and humanities courses at KAIST and research positions focused on microfluidics and materials testing. Fahim has also held leadership roles in student organizations, promoting projects and facilitating communication within the international student community.
