Julijana Milojevic Ph.D., Bsc

Julijana Milojevic, PhD, BSc, is a Scientist III at Vital Bio since August 2022, with a robust academic and research background in chemical biology and biochemistry. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at McMaster University's Biointerfaces Institute focused on point-of-care test development from February 2017 to August 2022, and a Sessional Instructor position at McMaster University in early 2022. Julijana accumulated significant experience as an Industrial Postdoctoral Researcher at SP-Nanobiotech Inc., specializing in the controlled encapsulation of recombinant proteins in lipid nanoparticles from January 2015 to February 2017, and as Contract Faculty at Sheridan College teaching microbiology and chemistry in 2014. Earlier roles include a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at McMaster University investigating therapeutic albumin binding to amyloid fibrils, and extensive research as a Graduate Student at McMaster (2005-2011), culminating in a PhD dissertation on Alzheimer’s peptide fibrilization.
