Kevin Ming

Kevin Ming, PhD has a diverse range of work experience. Kevin currently serves as the R&D Chief of Staff at Vital Bio, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Enghouse from 2018 to 2021, starting as the Manager of Business Operations and later becoming the Director of Growth, Office of the President. From 2014 to 2020, Kevin was the Co-Founder and CEO of AllergenFree Solutions Inc. Kevin also had a brief stint as the Executive Director at Haltech Regional Innovation Centre in 2018. Additionally, Kevin has worked as a Sales Representative at Blue & Green Inc., an Academic Consultant at BeMo Academic Consulting Inc., and a Model at Sutherland Models.

Kevin Ming, PhD, has a solid education history in the field of engineering. Kevin completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto from 2008 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Electrical Engineering from The University of British Columbia from 2005 to 2008. Kevin also holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) (BSc(Eng)) in Electrical Engineering, which they earned from Queen's University between 2001 and 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Kevin has also obtained various certifications. Kevin completed several courses on data science, such as "Data Science Methodology," "Databases and SQL for Data Science," "Introduction to Data Science Specialization," and "Tools for Data Science." These courses were conducted through Coursera Course Certificates and were completed in November and October 2020. Kevin also completed the "What is Data Science?" course from Coursera in October 2020.

Furthermore, Kevin has completed several Excel skills courses for business, including "Excel Skills for Business Specialization," "Excel Skills for Business: Advanced," "Excel Skills for Business: Essentials," "Excel Skills for Business: Intermediate I," and "Excel Skills for Business: Intermediate II." Kevin accomplished these courses in September 2020.

Additionally, Kevin has participated in executive education programs. Kevin completed the "High Impact Strategic Planning" executive education program at the DeGroote School of Business - McMaster University in April 2018. Kevin also completed the "V.I.P. Leadership" executive education program at the same institution in April 2018.
