Eytan Stibbe

Founding Partner at Vital Capital

With over 35 years of experience in finance and business, Eytan Stibbe is an Israeli entrepreneur, impact investor, and philanthropist. Over the years, Stibbe has dedicated himself to a variety of social betterment projects, particularly in developing markets. He is a founding partner of Vital Capital Fund which focuses on social impact investment including projects in healthcare, water, sustainable infrastructure, and technological initiatives.

Stibbe made history in April 2022 when he became the second Israeli to travel to space, spending 17 days as a crew member of Axiom Mission (Ax-1), the first commercial mission to the International Space Station (ISS). The Rakia Mission on Ax-1 engaged thousands of scientists, students, educators, and artists in mission-focused projects. Stibbe’s collaboration with the Ramon Foundation and the Israel Space Agency created unique opportunities for Israeli researchers, investors, artists and entrepreneurs, and leaves a legacy of inspiration for future generations of scientists and artists.

Stibbe Lives in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is married to Ora and has three children and five grandchildren. He graduated from the Israeli Air Force Academy as a pilot and flight instructor and completed an MBA at the European University of Belgium. He is the founder of the Center of African Studies at Ben-Gurion University in Beer Sheva, serves on the boards of several other universities and NGOs and is a member of the World Economic Forum.
