As VP of Clinical Program Development, Dr. Allan Zuckoff works closely with the Chief Operations Officer to bring clinical innovation and oversight to the products and services. Allan is a clinical psychologist who has spent the past 25 years specializing in Motivational Interviewing (MI) training, research, and practice. A member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) since 1998, he has served for 7 years as an officer and member of the MINT Board of Directors and has been the editor of the MINT Bulletin and Motivational Interviewing: Training, Research, Implementation, Practice.
As a clinician, teacher, and researcher in the departments of psychiatry and psychology at the University of Pittsburgh from 1992-2015, Allan oversaw intervention development, training, and fidelity monitoring for a dozen clinical trials of MI in substance use, mental health, and health behavior settings. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles and chapters and 2 books related to this work, and most recently is the author (with Bonnie Gorscak, PhD) of Finding Your Way to Change: How the Power of Motivational Interviewing Can Reveal What You Want and Help You Get There, published by Guilford Press and available in English, Dutch, Italian, and Spanish.
