Mandy Perichon

Mandy Perichon is currently the Head of Product Engineering at Vital. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer - Full Stack Javascript at Conqa Construction Software from March 2017 to June 2019.

At Conqa, Mandy was responsible for backend and frontend development, building single page web apps using state of the art web technologies on AWS. Some of their key projects include addressing scalability issues through a re-architecture of the Conqa frontend and data storage strategy, which involved a database change and migration. Mandy also used CouchDB to provide relevant information to the frontend, making the most out of CouchDB’s indexed views to compute and maintain aggregates and minimise the amount of data downloaded by the client. In addition, they created an event analytics pipeline using AWS Amplify to post events to a Kinesis Stream which is regularly written to S3 in a format that is queryable through Athena.
