Stephanie Bonvissuto

Stephanie Bonvissuto Ph.D. serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Women's and Gender Studies at Hunter College since August 2022. Stephanie also teaches at VITAL THOUGHT and has been a Doctoral Candidate/Graduate Student Instructor and Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University since June 2015. Previous experience includes roles as a Master's Graduate Student/Teacher's Assistant at Brandeis University and as a Student Coordinator for the Queer Student Center at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Stephanie has a Doctor of Philosophy in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies from Stony Brook University and a Master's Degree in Joint Sociology & Women's and Gender Studies from Brandeis University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Study and Sociology from UMass Boston. Prior to academia, Stephanie worked as a Medical Records Manager from 1996 to 2009.
