Bill Ward

Bill Ward is an experienced professional in the field of quality biotherapies and cellular therapy operations. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Quality Biotherapies at Vitalant since March 2023, Bill previously held the position of Cellular Therapy Operations Manager at Novartis Oncology from March 2018 to March 2023. Prior to that, Bill worked as a Senior Auditor and Technical Consultant at ProPharma Group, where responsibilities included conducting client cGMP/cGTP audits and offering regulatory compliance consultations. Bill also served as the Director of Cellular Therapy Services at Saint Luke's Health System from February 2005 to June 2017, during which time Bill founded the first cord blood bank in Kansas City and established processes to meet cGMP requirements. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and earlier studies in Pre-Dentistry at Creighton University.
