Gwendolyn Jones

Gwendolyn Jones is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operational excellence and quality management within the healthcare sector. Since September 2018, Gwendolyn has held multiple leadership roles at Vitalant, currently serving as Vice President of Process Design and Improvement Services and Vice President of Performance Excellence. Prior to this, Gwendolyn was the Senior Corporate Director of Quality and held other operational excellence positions at Blood Systems and The Institute for Transfusion Medicine. A Director at ITxM from 2004 to 2014, Gwendolyn began a career in the industry as the Director of Donor Relations at LifeSource. Gwendolyn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Carolina and is a certified Six Sigma Black/Gold Belt from Six Sigma Academy.
