Leila Mills has extensive work experience in project management and software implementation. Leila began their career at ASPECT COMMUNICATIONS/TCS MANAGEMENT in 1996 as a Customer Support Consultant, providing training and technical support for clients such as Merrill Lynch and American Express. Leila then moved up to the role of Account Team Manager, overseeing a team of eight and managing client configurations.
In 1998, Leila joined Aspect Communications/TCS Management as a Software Application Consultant, assisting clients with the implementation and use of call center software. Leila configured the software to match client networks and provided training sessions.
Leila then worked at Customersoft as a Technical Services Consultant and Training Manager, where they installed and configured CRM and database management software for clients. Leila also developed and conducted training programs.
At CSG Systems, Leila served as a Project Consultant, managing a team in the configuration and implementation of customer care and billing software for telecommunications companies. Leila worked closely with customers to gather requirements for custom enhancements and ensured timely delivery.
Leila then joined Bonfils Blood Center as an Applications Analyst, where they installed software applications and upgrades to support quality and regulatory requirements. Leila also conducted tests to validate applications and worked on database maintenance with network administrators.
Leila continued their career at Blood Systems as a Project Manager before transitioning to their current role as a Senior Project Manager at Vitalant. In these positions, Leila has managed the selection, development, customization, and implementation of business software applications. Leila has collaborated with business leaders to develop requirements and finalize solution selections. Leila has also worked with both users and developers to design custom applications using various methodologies.
Throughout their career, Leila has demonstrated strong project management skills and expertise in software implementation.
Leila Mills earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. In addition to their degree, they obtained two certifications: a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt in October 2015 and a PMP-Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2008.
