Rachel Nelson

Rachel Nelson has a diverse work experience in healthcare and blood services. Rachel began their career in 2008 as an Assistant Donor Care Supervisor at Blood Systems, where they worked until 2012. Rachel then transitioned to the role of Donor Recruitment Supervisor and continued in this position until 2017. In 2017, Rachel joined Vitalant as a Senior Hospital Services Manager, where they worked until October 2022. Rachel then took on the role of Director of Fixed Site Recruitment at Vitalant.

Rachel Nelson earned their Associate of Arts - AA in Psychology from Minnesota State Community and Technical College in 2004, and later pursued a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University Moorhead, which they completed in 2006.
