Susanne Marschner

Vice President Research & Scientific Programs at Vitalant

Susanne Marschner's work experience begins in 1991 when they obtained their Masters Degree from Behringwerke AG. From 1999 to 2003, they worked as a Research Associate at National Jewish Health. Susanne then joined Proneuron Biotechnologies, Inc. as a QC Lab Supervisor from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, Susanne joined Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies as a Senior Scientist and held this role until 2011. From 2012 to 2021, they worked for Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies as the Director of Global Scientific Affairs. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Research & Scientific Programs at Vitalant Research Institute, starting in March 2021.

Susanne Marschner completed their education in a sequential manner. Susanne began their academic journey in 1988 and graduated in 1994 from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, earning a Master's degree in Biology. Subsequently, from 1994 to 1999, they attended the University of Colorado Denver, where they pursued a PhD in Immunology and Cell Biology.
