Emma Kahrs

Emma Kahrs is a skilled social worker currently serving as a Behavioral Health Coordinator at VitalCore Health Strategies at the Kent County Correctional Facility since January 2024. With prior experience as a Medical Social Worker at MSU Health Care and a Psychotherapist at Michigan Psychological Care, Emma has developed a strong foundation in mental health services. Previous roles include Mental Health Intern Therapist at The Women's Center of Southeastern Michigan and Youth Development and Mentor Program Facilitator at the Michigan Department of Transportation. Emma completed a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Art at Eastern Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Michigan.
