Nick Bozard

Nick Bozard has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Nick is currently working at VitalSource as a Lead Software Engineer, starting in November 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company, from September 2017 to November 2022. Before joining VitalSource, Nick worked at KAYAK as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, specializing in web UI development and maintenance of Java-based server-rendered pages. Nick was part of a full-stack team of six and also worked on React/Redux development. Nick also has experience at Vital Source Technologies, where they served as the Manager of Application Development. Nick led a front-end web development team and managed projects for educational publishing clients, utilizing various tools and frameworks. Nick was also involved in custom digital education product development and integration. Prior to that, Nick worked as a Developer and Junior Developer, primarily focusing on media-rich interactive activities, eBooks, and eBook readers. Nick has also held a contract role as an Editor at EDC (Education Development Center).

Nick Bozard earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completing their education from 1998 to 2003.
