Shanna Daniel

Director, Customer Success at VitalSource

Shanna Daniel's work experience includes a range of roles in customer success, education, writing, and editing. Shanna has worked at VitalSource since 2015, starting as a Customer Success Manager and progressing to Senior Customer Success Manager and then Manager. In their current role as Director of Customer Success, they oversee customer success initiatives. Shanna has managed top-grossing client portfolios, secured renewals, and focused on improving processes and delivering outstanding client experiences. Prior to VitalSource, they worked as a High School English Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools and the School District of Philadelphia, where they managed student outcomes, coached mock trial teams, and fostered communication with stakeholders. Shanna also has experience as a Freelance Writer/Editor, where they worked on various projects adhering to style guidelines. Shanna has additional experience as a High School Tutor, Assistant Editor, and Copy Editor/Writer.

Shanna Daniel attended Wake Forest University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature. In 2008 and 2009, they pursued further education at the University of Pennsylvania, completing a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching. Additionally, Shanna obtained a certification in Design Thinking: Customer Experience from LinkedIn in April 2019.
