Fumi Matsumoto currently serves as a Venture Partner at VitalStage Ventures since September 2024. Prior to this role, Fumi held multiple positions at Secure AI Labs, including Advisor, Chief Product Officer, and Consultant from March 2020 to September 2024. Fumi was the Chief Technology Officer at Patient Discovery from April 2018 to March 2020. As a co-founder and CEO, Fumi contributed to Humu Labs from February 2014 to December 2016, and previously served as the Chief Technology Officer at Applause / uTest between March 2011 and December 2013. Fumi also co-founded Allurent and held the Chief Technology Officer position from September 2004 to October 2010, and was the Chief Technology Officer and held senior product management roles at ATG from September 1993 to 2004. Fumi holds two Master of Science degrees in Media Arts and Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Cornell University.
