Matthew Wilson, MD FAAHPM is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as the Medical Director of Outpatient Palliative Care and Assistant Professor at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics since July 2016. Matthew specializes in inpatient and clinic-based palliative medicine, focusing on teaching medical students, residents, and fellows to provide care for patients with serious illness. In addition to clinical roles, Matthew is Co-Director of the Adult Schwartz Center Rounds at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and serves as a communication coach with VitalTalk. Previous positions include Director of Outpatient Palliative Care at Colorado Permanente Medical Group and Palliative Medicine Fellow at the University of Colorado Hospital. Matthew has a diverse educational background, holding degrees from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and the University of Colorado Denver, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Allegheny College.
