Bob Kao

Bob Kao has extensive work experience in various roles related to business systems analysis and software development. Bob began their career at Starline Windows in 2005 as a Senior System Developer, where they developed and maintained in-house business systems and became a key employee. In 2011, they joined QED Software Solutions Ltd as a Software Developer, working on trade union membership management software and administering SQL Server objects. Bob returned to Starline Windows in 2013 as a Senior Analyst Developer/Team Lead, where they performed managerial and leadership duties and acted as a subject matter expert in various business processes and systems. In 2018, they joined Vitalus Nutrition Inc as a Business Systems Analyst, before being promoted to Senior Business Systems Analyst in September 2021.

Bob Kao completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Accounting at Douglas College from 2019 to 2021. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University, which they obtained between 1998 and 2002. Before their university education, Bob completed an Accounting Diploma at Douglas College, which they obtained in 2019. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in "Microsoft SQL Server 2016: Installation and Administration" from LinkedIn in October 2019.
