Manuel San Roman

Manuel San Roman has extensive work experience in various roles within the food manufacturing industry. Manuel started their career in 1998 as a Production Manager at Bimbo, S.A. de C.V., where they successfully implemented ISO and HACCP standards and improved production practices for McDonald's products.

In 2002, Manuel joined Grupo Bimbo as an International Fast Food Key Account Manager, where they developed key accounts and implemented strategies for sales forecasting, business reviews, and category reviews. Manuel played a pivotal role in the development of customer plans and achieved successful promotional results.

Afterwards, Manuel served as a District Sales Manager at Grupo Bimbo, directing sales and marketing operations and implementing a new sales segmented structure that improved profitability.

In 2008, Manuel became the General Manager of "Galletas Gabi" at Grupo Bimbo, where they oversaw overall management of the food manufacturing facility and achieved a 15% increase in sales through value composition and synergetic actions.

Since 2011, Manuel has been working at The Original Cakerie as a Plant Manager, providing leadership and coaching to various teams, maximizing certified quality and efficiency, and implementing cost reductions. Manuel has consistently achieved top BRC certification awards and set a record for 10 years of output in 2019. In 2020, they achieved the best overall plant result in terms of operational and financial performance.

Currently, Manuel is working as a Plant Manager at Vitalus Nutrition Inc, where they continue to excel in their role.

Manuel San Roman obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical & Electrical from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Manuel then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México.

In 1997, Manuel also completed a Diploma in Baking Science and Technology from the American Institute of Baking. More recently, in 2019, they obtained a Diploma in Lean Management from Simplilearn Alumni.
