Luc Martens

Luc Martens has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Luc began their career as a Postbezorger at PostNL from January 2011 to October 2017. In 2013, they worked as a Stagiair at Nutreco, where they focused on improving and mapping the business process of non-product related procurement for IT Peripherals. Luc then joined Freber Metaalbewerking en Machinebouw BV in February 2015 as an Afstudeerder, documenting the company's processes for ISO 9001 certification. Luc analyzed and advised on the desired state of the business processes to meet ISO 9001 standards.

Luc gained further experience in finance and operations by working at Sound United from November 2017 to December 2019. In this role as a Finance & Operations Assistant, they were responsible for tasks such as month-end closing processes, management reporting, and monitoring order and delivery processes.

Since January 2020, Luc has been working at Vitam, initially as an Assistent Financial Controller. In this position, they handled financial administration tasks like general ledger, invoicing, debtor and creditor management, and financial report creation. Luc also played a role in optimizing and monitoring internal controls and administrative organization. Luc has recently been promoted to the role of Financial Controller.

Luc Martens has a diverse education history. Luc completed their Bachelor of Economics from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) from 2011 to 2015, specializing in HBO Bedrijfseconomie. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Leraar basisonderwijs at Fontys Hogeschool Den Bosch in 2010. Furthermore, they completed their HAVO degree in Economics and Society at Merlet College Grave from 2005 to 2010.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Luc Martens furthered their education at Radboud University. Luc pursued the Pre-master Economie - Accounting & Control program from 2015 to 2016. Luc then continued their studies at Radboud University, obtaining a Master of Science in Economics with a specialization in Accounting & Control from 2016 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Luc Martens obtained a certification in Winshuttle studio from Ctac in November 2017.
