Marcia Krekelberg-Lalieu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2003, Marcia worked as an F&B Employee at Restaurant Drie Cronen and then Hotel La Ville Blanche. Marcia then gained experience in the hospitality industry at Camping Capalonga and Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa as an F&B Employee and Trainee in the Rooms Division, respectively.

In 2008, Marcia joined TheaterHotel De Oranjerie as an F&B Employee and later transitioned into the role of Supervisor F&B. Marcia then moved to Peninsula All Suite Hotel as a Trainee F&B Manager.

From 2011 to 2013, Marcia worked as a Restaurant Manager at Restaurant Damianz, Hotel Het Arresthuis, and then returned to TheaterHotel De Oranjerie as a Supervisor F&B.

In 2014, Marcia started their work at The Colour Kitchen, where they held various positions including Assistant Regio Coach, Management Trainee, and Business Controller. Marcia'sresponsibilities included managing social and commercial objectives, building and maintaining networks, and project management.

Since 2019, Marcia has been working as a Business Unit Controller at VITAM BV.

Marcia Krekelberg-Lalieu began their education in 1999 at Sg. St. Ursula Horn, where they pursued a VWO degree in Economie & Maatschappij. Marcia completed their VWO degree in 2005. Following this, from 2005 to 2007, they attended Radboud University, where they obtained a Propaedeutic exam in English Language and Culture. Marcia then continued their studies at Breda University of Applied Sciences from 2008 to 2015, earning a Bachelor's degree in International Hotel Management. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits (with merit) from the WSET Wine & Spirit Education Trust in London in July 2014.
