Joan Garcia

Joan Garcia is an experienced graphic and digital designer, having worked at notable organizations such as CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center and RTD. From July 2023 to February 2024, Garcia spearheaded the development of visual elements to uphold the center's brand identity, including the creation of a digital newsletter that achieved a 35% average open rate. Prior to this role, from June 2010 to March 2020, Garcia directed digital advertising campaigns and led a design team at RTD, contributing to major initiatives that resulted in a 45% increase in ridership. Earlier experience includes serving as Art Director at Windfire Group, where the enhancement of client branding and a significant redesign of Horse Connection Magazine garnered increased reader engagement.
