Alyssa Hansen

Alyssa Hansen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Alyssa started their career as a Property Information Collector at BC Assessment in 2013 and 2014. In 2014, they also worked as a Web Conference Administrator at the College of Applied Biology and as a Guest Service Agent at The Oswego Hotel, where they gained customer service skills in the hospitality industry.

During their final semester at UVic in 2014, Alyssa was the Director of Marketing at JDC West, where they created promotional materials and managed social media engagement.

In 2015, Alyssa joined Pretio Interactive as a Product Marketing Specialist, where they assisted with web property management and took over media buying responsibilities. Alyssa later became the Client Success & Digital Performance Manager, focusing on sales and client-facing activities.

From 2018 to 2019, Alyssa worked at Epicure™ as a Marketing Coordinator and Communications Coordinator.

In 2019, Alyssa joined Stocksy United as a Product Marketing Specialist.

In 2021, Alyssa worked as a Content Marketing Specialist at Cuboh, followed by roles as an Account Manager + Marketing Associate and a Project Manager at VitaminLab in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

Overall, Alyssa has gained experience in project management, account management, marketing, product marketing, client success, and customer service throughout their career.

Alyssa Hansen's education history includes a variety of academic experiences. In 2019-2020, they attended Royal Roads University and earned a Graduate Certificate in Project Management. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2014, Alyssa studied at the University of Victoria and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Commerce. In 2013, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management at Mahidol University. Earlier in their education, from 2009 to 2011, Alyssa attended Camosun College and received a Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General from Camosun College in 2009-2010. Prior to these experiences, Alyssa attended Carleton University in 2008-2009 and pursued a Bachelor of Journalism degree with a focus on Journalism.

Apart from their formal education, Alyssa Hansen also holds a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in September 2021.
