René Straub

René Straub has extensive work experience in various roles and companies.

René began their career as a Softwareingenieur at Ingentis in July 2008, where they worked until August 2009.

René then joined qforge GmbH as a Game Developer in September 2009 and remained there until December 2012.

In January 2013, René co-founded Severe Bytes and served as a Co-Founder until April 2014.

Following this, they joined DATEV eG as a Softwareingenieur from May 2014 to December 2017.

Currently, René is the CTO at VITAS.ai, a company that develops intelligent speech assistants for customer service. In this role, they are responsible for various tasks, including Frontend- and Backend development, architecture and infrastructure, and research and development in ASR and NLP.

René Straub holds a Bachelor's degree in Informatik from FernUniversität in Hagen. Additionally, René has completed a Nanodegree in Deep Learning from Udacity and a Nanodegree in A.I. Engineering, also from Udacity. The specific start and end years for each educational program are not provided.
