Thomas Abend 🚀

Thomas Abend's work experience begins in 2008 when they undertook a dual course of studies at the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology SIT. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a working student at evivax IT Consulting GmbH. In 2012, Thomas founded the webshop myloopy, where they served as founder until 2015. In 2014, they also founded the webshop infinity-mirror, where they remained as founder until 2016. From 2014 to 2016, Thomas was a trainee in IT product management at DATEV eG. In 2016, they became a data scientist and assistant to the director of Cloud Products at DATEV eG until 2017. Lastly, in 2018, Thomas founded VITAS.ai and currently serves as the Founder and CEO.

Thomas Abend holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Informatik from Hochschule Darmstadt, which they obtained between 2008 and 2012. Following this, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Hochschule Darmstadt, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014. Seeking to expand their knowledge and skills, Thomas attended Udacity, where they completed a Nanodegree in Machine Learning from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they completed a specialized program in Self Driving Car Engineering from Udacity, spanning from 2017 to 2018.
