Willem Geysen

Willem Geysen is an experienced healthcare professional with a focus on nursing and leadership roles. Currently serving as the hoofdverpleegkundige at Vitaz since March 2011, Willem has also held the position of voorzitter raad van bestuur at Hartekinderen vzw since December 2014, addressing the challenges faced by individuals with congenital heart defects. Additional roles include bestuurslid at the Belgische vereniging voor neuroverpleegkundigen and participation in the Medical Advice Committee for Make-A-Wish Belgium Vlaanderen. Willem's previous positions with Make-A-Wish include coördinator of the Medical Advice Committee and CEO. Educational qualifications include several specialized nursing degrees, culminating in a graduation in hospital nursing from KaHO Sint Niklaas in 1986.
