Mathieu Ouvrard

Mathieu Ouvrard is an experienced engineer specializing in video codecs, currently working at VITEC - Video Innovations since January 2014, where responsibilities include the study and implementation of algorithms for AVC, HEVC, and VVC video codecs. Previously, Mathieu Ouvrard completed an internship at Thales in early 2013, focusing on GPU-based signal and image processing, where an architecture evaluation of Nvidia Kepler GPUs was conducted, including the implementation of CUDA and OpenCL APIs. Earlier experience includes an internship at IDEA in 2012, developing an image processing application to evaluate dermatological products using color segmentation and spatial alignment techniques.
