Sofia Alves Rodrigues

Sofia Alves Rodrigues is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as Software Team Lead at VITEC since February 2022, Sofia previously held the position of Full-stack Team Lead at Exterity, now VITEC, from April 2019 to February 2022. Sofia's earlier roles include Coordinator of UX, Usability and Front-end at I2S, where leadership and expertise in user experience were paramount. Additionally, Sofia has contributed to education as a Trainer at Instituto de Ciências e Letras, teaching at esteemed institutions such as FEUP and ISEP. Sofia began the career journey as a Web Developer at Futurekids and dFUSION, supplementing technical skills with training experience in web development. Sofia holds a Licenciatura in Eng. Informática - Sistemas de Informação from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, earned between 2002 and 2007.
