Richard Hart

Richard Hart is Vitech’s Chief Executive Officer. Before being named CEO in September 2021, Richard served as Vitech’s Interim CEO for 6 months. He also served as a board member since December 2019.

Prior to joining Vitech, Richard served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer for Guidewire Software, one of the largest vendors of software services to the property and casualty insurance industry. Prior to that, over a 25-year period, he advised software companies, first as a lawyer and then as an investment banker.

Richard currently serves as a member on the board of directors for two early-stage technology companies which deliver high social impact, Wonolo, Inc. and Ethically, Inc., and the Council for Unity, a New York educational non-profit organization. He also served as a board member of Altair Engineering, Inc., a public software company.

Richard holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Folklore from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the New York University School of Law.
