Pierre Basten

Pierre Basten is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in water management and project leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Projectleider at Vitens since July 2006, Pierre is responsible for preparing projects related to main water pipelines and overseeing their execution. Previously, from August 1999 to June 2006, Pierre held various roles at Waterbedrijf Gelderland, including projectstuurder and projectengineer, focusing on the coordination and preparation of infrastructure projects such as the installation of cables and pipelines. Pierre began a career in the water industry as a monteur and leerling monteur at WMG from August 1989 to June 1999. Pierre's educational background includes a degree from MTS weg en waterbouw, attained in 1983.
