Farrukh Iqbal

Farrukh Iqbal has over 18 years of experience in IT and network services. Farrukh is currently working as an IT Network Services Team Lead at Viterra Australia, where they manage the network team and leads network security projects. Prior to this, Farrukh held roles such as Senior Network & Security Specialist at Viterra Australia, Network Specialist at the Department for Education in South Australia, and Information Technologist Network Services at the University of South Australia. Farrukh also worked as an IT Infrastructure Engineer at the Department for Education & Child Development SA and as a Specialist Network Engineer at BT E-SERV (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED. Farrukh has expertise in implementing network solutions, configuring network gears (switches, routers, firewalls), and troubleshooting. Farrukh has experience with various networking technologies, including Cisco, Fortinet, HP, and VMware.

Farrukh Iqbal completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications from Indira Gandhi National Open University in 2004. Farrukh then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Applications from the same university, graduating in 2006. In terms of certification, they obtained several credentials, including CISSP from (ISC)² in 2023, NSE 5 Network Security Professional from Fortinet in 2022, and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in 2022, among others. Farrukh has also achieved various certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware, and is recognized as a qualified professional in those areas.
