Paul Carter has extensive work experience in the field of information technology infrastructure and management. Paul is currently working as the IT Infrastructure Services Team Lead at Viterra Australia, where they have been since July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as an Infrastructure Analyst at the same company from January 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Viterra Australia, Paul worked at Subnet as a Senior Systems Engineer from February 2020 to December 2020. Paul also has a significant background in the education sector, having held various roles at the Department for Education, South Australia, including ICT District Support Officer from December 2002 to August 2008.

Paul's earlier experiences include positions as Manager, Digital Strategy and ICT Infrastructure, Manager, ICT Strategy and Infrastructure, and IT Systems and Network Manager at the South Australian Museum from 2008 to 2019. Paul started their career as an IT Systems Support Trainee at Aberfoyle Park High School from March 2000 to March 2001.

Paul Carter has a Diploma of Management from CPD BIZ Consulting Pty Ltd, completed in 2012. Paul also has a certification in ITIL V3 - Software Asset Management from ProActive Services Pty Ltd, obtained in 2011. In 2006, Paul completed a Cisco CCNA certification at Para West Adult Campus. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Information Technology (Network Management) from TAFE SA in 2002, a Certificate IV in Information Technology (Network Management) from TAFE SA in 2001, and a Certificate IV in Information Technology (Client Support) from TAFE SA in 2000.

In terms of additional certifications, Paul obtained an Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification from Microsoft in 2019, and a Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Centre (Exam 409) certification from Microsoft in 2014.
