Cristian Minzat

Cristian Minzat is an accomplished mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across prominent companies in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Mechanical Engineering at Schaeffler since October 2024, Cristian previously held the position of Head of Application Mechanical Engineering at Vitesco Technologies from 2020. Cristian's earlier experience includes over 16 years at Continental Automotive Romania SRL, where responsibilities encompassed mechanical design activities, project management, and mentoring. Notable achievements include patent ownership, FMEA moderation, and engineering management of teams exceeding ten employees. Cristian’s career commenced at Sipa S.p.A. as a mechanical engineer, specializing in packaging machine design, followed by a role at ISIM focusing on welding joint inspections. Cristian holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universitatea „Politehnica” din Timișoara and is IASSC Certified Green Belt in Six Sigma.
