Tomas de Boer

Tomas de Boer has a diverse and extensive work experience. Tomas currently holds the position of Head of Product at Vitestro since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Koning & Hartman as a Managing Consultant Robotics from 2018 to 2019 and as a Senior Consultant Industry from 2016 to 2017. Before that, Tomas was an Innovator Mechatronics at Priva, where they developed robots for horticulture from 2014 to 2016. Tomas also worked as a Research Associate at IHMC in 2013 and as a Senior Robotics Engineer at Pal Robotics from 2012 to 2013. Tomas's earlier experiences include being a PhD Candidate at Delft University of Technology from 2006 to 2011, focusing on the development of a biologically-inspired two-legged robot, and working as a Graduate Researcher at Philips Research and the National Measurement Institute of Australia in 2005.

Tomas de Boer obtained their PhD in Robotics from Delft University of Technology in 2012. Before that, they completed their MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology from 1999 to 2006. Tomas also holds a PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner certification from APMG International, although the specific year and month of completion are not mentioned.
