Robert Edgar is a Certified Energy Risk Professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Natural Gas Analyst at Vitol Group since October 2018, Robert has overhauled daily processes, automated critical business functions using Python and SQL, and contributed to the development of strategic decision-making models. Previous roles include Manager of Risk and Analytics and Senior Risk Analyst at Source Power and Gas, where Robert managed risk reporting and developed risk models. Additional experience includes a risk secondment at ERM Power, an analyst position at Shell Trading, and a consultant role at Quorum Business Solutions, where Robert implemented energy trading software solutions.
