George Strakosa

George Strakosa is a seasoned Database/BI Developer with extensive experience in data management and application development. Currently at Vitol Group since April 2016, George focuses on Oracle and Qlikview development. Prior roles include Database/BI Developer at Cross Systems and Oracle Database/Application Developer at CERN, where contributions were made to critical components of the accelerator complex. George's expertise also spans data warehousing and ETL processes, demonstrated during tenure at Eurobank Cards, managing a 10TB data warehouse and implementing key financial projects. Earlier experience includes development work for OpenMRS and Atkosoft, as well as a research project at the University of Piraeus. George holds a Master's Degree in Health Informatics and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
