Philippe Heidendal

Philippe Heidendal, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Derivatives Operations at Vitol since August 2022, overseeing initial margin management, optimization of delivery costs, derivative operations, and regulatory reporting. Prior to this role, Philippe held various positions at ING from 2005 to 2022, culminating in the position of Managing Director and Global Head of Commodity Origination & Sales, where responsibilities encompassed global derivative sales strategy and alignment across multiple regions. Philippe's earlier career included operational management consulting with Celerant Consulting and internships at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands and the United Nations. Philippe holds a CFA charter and has advanced degrees in Political Economy and Economic History from Sciences Po and Leiden University, respectively.
