Richard Ingham

Richard Ingham is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in business development and commercial leadership. Currently serving as the VPI Business Development Director since February 2022, Richard previously held the role of Commercial Lead at EDF (UK), focusing on supply chain reporting and insight for the HPC project. Richard's long tenure at Centrica from 2004 to 2020 included key positions such as Head of Commercial for Distributed Energy and Power, where leadership of a commercial team contributed to the growth of a 500MW project pipeline, and Head of Projects, implementing organization design for the Distributed Energy and Power business. Earlier roles at Centrica included leading responses to significant regulatory investigations and managing a substantial nuclear joint venture. Richard holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick.
