Sonja Hornberger

Sonja Hornberger has extensive experience in human resources, holding various leadership positions throughout their career. Sonja currently serves as the Chief People Officer at Vitra International AG since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as Head of HR LA EMEA at U.I. Lapp GmbH from August 2021 to April 2022. Sonja previously held the role of CHRO at Vitra International AG from April 2018 to July 2021. Before joining Vitra International AG, they worked as the Head of Global HR at Vitra from April 2015 to April 2018. Earlier in their career, they served as Bereichsleitung HR at GEZE GmbH from April 2008 to March 2015, Personalleitung at Zehnder GmbH from March 2007 to March 2008, and Bereichsleitung Personal at Homag Germany from October 1991 to December 2003.

Sonja Hornberger attended Duale Hochschule Villingen-Schwenningen from 1988 to 1991, where they earned a degree in Personalwesen / Rechnungswesen. Sonja obtained the Diplom Betriebswirtin degree during their time at the institution.
