Kimberly Erickson

Vice President Operations at VitriVax

Kimberly Erickson has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Kimberly began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center from August 2000 to June 2002. Kimberly then moved on to the University of Colorado Boulder, where they held various positions including Postdoctoral Researcher from September 2002 to August 2003, Research Associate from July 2008 to September 2017, and Senior Research Associate from September 2017 to June 2022. During their time at the University of Colorado Boulder, Kimberly studied polyomavirus using microscopy and biochemical methods, focusing on virus replication and egress.

In April 2019, Kimberly joined VitriVax as an Operations Manager and was later promoted to Director Project Management in November 2020. Kimberly then served as the Head of Research and Development Operations from June 2022 to February 2023. Currently, Kimberly holds the position of Vice President Operations at VitriVax starting from February 2023.

Kimberly Erickson has a diverse education history. In 1990, they began their undergraduate studies at Baker University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology in 1994. Following this, they pursued further education and enrolled at Purdue University from 1994 to 2000. During their time at Purdue, Kimberly Erickson successfully completed a Ph.D. program in Molecular Virology. Finally, in 2022, they attended both the University of Washington and the University of California San Diego to receive a certificate in Biotechnology Project Management.
