Yu Jiao currently serves as a Research Fellow at Vitro, a position held since the formation of the new glass company in October 2016, following the acquisition of PPG Industries' Flat Glass and Automotive Glass businesses. Prior to this, Jiao was a Corporate Fellow at PPG Industries Inc. since January 2002, recognized for superior technical achievements and leadership in developing impactful technologies. Jiao's career at PPG began in 1998, progressing through various roles including Sr. Staff Engineer/Manager and Member of the PPG Collegium, the company's highest honor. Yu Jiao holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, completed between 1983 and 1988.
