Li Vern Tan

Li Vern Tan is a Senior R&D Engineer and Agriculture Team Lead at ViTrox Corporation Berhad, leading research and development operations and managing farm practices since March 2021. Previously served as an R&D Engineer and Research and Development Scientist, focusing on agricultural research including vegetable farming, composting, pest control, and organic fertilization. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Universiti Sains Malaysia, contributing to fig plantlet production methods and establishing commercial greenhouses, along with a student internship in plant tissue culture. Li Vern Tan holds a PhD in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in Botany/Plant Biology from Universiti Sains Malaysia, alongside foundational education at St Xavier's Institution.
