Kate McCaw

Kate McCaw is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy, transformation, and corporate development across various sectors. Currently serving as Vice President - Value Add at Vitruvian Partners since May 2023, Kate previously held significant roles in OpenText and Micro Focus, including Director of Corporate Strategy and Director of Strategy and Transformation, respectively. At Micro Focus, responsibilities included leading strategic initiatives that aligned with company priorities while reporting directly to the Chief Executive. Prior to this, Kate worked at Deloitte UK for over five years, advising clients on growth strategies, M&A, and operational improvements, particularly within the TMT sector. Earlier career experiences include a business analyst position at Kahne Limited and various consulting roles within Deloitte. Academic qualifications include a conjoint degree in Economics, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Geography from The University of Auckland, complemented by language certifications.
