Torsten joined Vitruvian in 2009 and is responsible for the firm’s activities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the CEE region, as well as focusing on the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector.
Torsten has worked in private equity since 1999 and his track record includes a number of transactions in the Healthcare, Fintech, Telecoms and Media sectors. Prior to Vitruvian, he was a Director at Providence Equity Partners and previously he was at Morgan Stanley in corporate finance. Torsten has an MSc in Engineering Economic Systems and Operations Research and a dual BSc in Financial Mathematics and Industrial Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe.
