Emily Cordell

National Director of Product Management at Vitu

Emily Cordell has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Emily started their career at Salon Oasis, where they worked as an Independent Contractor and Owner from January 2010 to March 2013. Emily then transitioned to Lexus of Riverside, where they served as an Account Payables Specialist and DMV Compliance officer from March 2013 to September 2015.

In September 2015, Cordell joined Vitu as an Account Executive on the Oregon Launch Team. Here, they contributed to the successful expansion of the company's national presence. Emily then served as an Operations Specialist in the Portland office from August to September 2016 before being promoted to Product Manager in September 2016. In this role, they played a pivotal role in driving product innovation and managing integral partnerships.

Cordell's excellent performance led their to become a Senior National Product Manager in June 2019. Notably, they were then promoted to their current role as the National Director of Product Management in January 2020. In this position, they focus on executing the product vision, fostering continual growth into new markets, and leading teams towards success.

Emily Cordell's education history includes multiple certifications and degrees. In 2004, they attended Corban University and studied Business Administration and Management, but they did not obtain a degree. From 2006 to 2008, they attended Phagans Grants Pass College of Beauty and obtained a Licensed Hair Designer and Esthetician degree, specializing in Hair Styling/Stylist and Hair Design.

In 2021, Emily obtained a Project Management Certification from Cornell University. Additionally, they received various certifications including a Professional Scrum Master 1 certification from Scrum.org in 2018, and various certifications in Esthetics and Hair Design from the State Board of Cosmetology in January 2015. Emily also obtained an EFSET EXPRESS High Proficiency certification (CEFR C1/C2) from EF Education First in May 2015.
