Assaad Ghanem has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Assaad started their career as a Business Development Executive at Hardco steel construction co. in 2006, where they evaluated markets and developed business proposals. In 2007, they joined Emirates as a Passenger Sales and Service Agent, achieving monthly targets and providing excellent customer service. From 2008 to 2015, Assaad worked at MBC GROUP as a Senior Planner, where they also acted as Deputy Manager and provided training for new joiners. In 2015, they joined Quest Arabiya as a Planning and Scheduling Manager, responsible for strategy development and yearly hours calculation. Assaad later became the Programming Director at Quest Arabiya, overseeing the channel's programming strategy. Assaad then moved to iflix in 2017, serving as the Regional Content Programming Manager, responsible for developing strategies and managing teams in 9 MENA countries. In 2018, they joined Viacom International Media Networks as the Editorial Director for Comedy Central, Paramount Channel, Paramount+, and Nickelodeon. There, they managed the launch of Paramount+ in MENA and developed the content and programming strategy. Currently, Assaad is the Programming Director (Acquisition & Programming & Operations) at Viu, where they are responsible for building and executing the MENA content and curation strategy.

Assaad Ghanem pursued their education chronologically, starting with their high school education at Rawdat Al Fayhaa from 1988 to 2001. During this time, they focused on socioeconomics as their field of study. After completing their high school education, Assaad Ghanem went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Al Jinan University from 2002 to 2005. Assaad'sdegree specialized in Business Administration and Management, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the general aspects of the field.
