Carolyn Douglass has an extensive work history in talent management, recruiting and development, and training and development. Carolyn began their career in 1993 as the Director of Christian Education at First United Methodist Church. From 1995 to 2001, they served as the Director of Youth Ministries at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church, before transitioning to the role of Education Team Leader and then the Director of Inviting Ministries from 2001 to 2012. In 2012, Carolyn joined VIVA HEALTH as the Manager of Training & Development, a position they held until 2018 when they were promoted to Associate Director of Recruiting and Development. In 2020, they were appointed as the Director of Talent Management at VIVA HEALTH.
Carolyn Douglass attended Louisiana State University from 1988 to 1989, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period. Carolyn then pursued their education at Centenary College of Louisiana from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education.
