Wally Coker

Wally Coker is an experienced Senior Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator with a background in production support and database management across various organizations. Currently employed at VIVA HEALTH since February 2021, Wally focuses on supporting Microsoft SQL database servers in both on-premise and AWS environments, handling database migrations, and ensuring security compliance. Previously, at BBVA in the USA from June 2010 to January 2021, Wally managed a comprehensive environment of Microsoft SQL and MySQL databases, performing migrations and leading security initiatives. Wally's earlier roles include database administration and systems engineering at Modern Banking Systems of Alabama, FIS Global, and Open Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed database management, IT security implementation, and network infrastructure maintenance.
