Sotiris Karnavos

Sotiris Karnavos is the Group Sales Director at Viva Wallet. Sotiris has over 20 years of experience in sales and sales management.

Karnavos started their career as a Presales & Corporate Sales Manager at hellas online in 1999. Sotiris was promoted to Sales Director at Cyta Hellas in 2008 and held this position for 10 years. In this role, they were responsible for the Retail and B2B sales teams (90 employees) and the Retention and Pre-retention teams (40 employees). Sotiris was also a member of the Board of Directors and the Vice-President of the Promotion and Communication Council.

In 2007, Karnavos took on a new challenge as an External Consultant at SBCS S.A. In this role, they were responsible for designing, implementing and executing business plans concerning the provision of an end to end Telecom and IT solution for the Tourist market. This included preparing the commercial team by recruiting the right people, setting the targets for the first three years as well as the right sales methodology for approaching the market. Sotiris also established synergies with third-party companies in Telecom and IT areas to help the company deliver its projects to end customers.

In October 2018, Karnavos joined Viva Wallet as the Group Sales Director. In this role, they are responsible for leading the sales teams and driving growth across all markets.

Sotiris Karnavos has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras.

They are on a team with Dimitrios Kontoulis - Group CFO, George Liaskos - Chief Architect for Core, and Yannis Larios - SVP, Strategy and Business Development. Sotiris Karnavos reports to Haris Karonis, CEO & Founder.
