Niel Starksen

Niel Starksen is the founder and a board member of Vivalink. Niel was previously the CEO and Director of Guided Delivery Systems, Inc., which is now known as Ancora Heart. Starksen has also worked at Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine, and Well Advised.

Niel Starksen attended UC Irvine for their undergraduate degree, where they earned a Bachelor of Science. Niel then attended The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine - MD. After medical school, they completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Harvard Medical School. Niel then completed a Cardiovascular Disease Residency and an Interventional Cardiology Residency at the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine. Niel is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine as a Diplomate and by the American College of Cardiology as a Fellow.
